About

This is a blog of a guy with many interests. It has once been dedicated to the world of standards but over the time I decided to write more about best practices in the disciplines of software engineering, project management and information management focusing on Microsoft technologies.

About Me

While working as a project and process management consultant and senior solution architect in the discipline of Information Management in Germany, where I am born and live, I design and realize web-based and stand-alone applications (mainly written in Java or .NET) for distributed environments at the same time consulting organizations on the topic of interoperability between platforms on the network and application level.

Besides that, I enjoy traveling, skiing, sports diving, sailing, playing with all kinds of technology and cool gadgets, and reading interesting books from novels to fairly advanced technical books (yes, I really like going to bed with a nicely written disquisition on complexity of boolean functions).

Below you can find a map of the countries I have visited so far. I am sure the list is going to be enhanced soon.
